A Celebration of the STEM and ongoing work on climate change from Fochriw Primary School at Horseshoe Island, the Geetoo Penguins (the fastest penguin swimmers)

Children from Y1 to Year 6 have been taking part in a 'POLAR EXPLORER PROGRAMME' and working closely with STEM Ambassadors. Part of this ongoing work has been work creatively along with combining science and technology with humanities and using numeracy skills across the curriculum. We're sure you'll agree with us it is a huge honour to celebrate our expressive STEM work going to HORSESHOE ISLAND in Antarctia!! We are very grateful to the scientist Dr Ellen Moon and her team making this special video for us. We are inspired by the amazing work these scientists do in Antarctica and learning about it continues to contribute to our ongoing work on climate change. We are scientists at Fochriw! Made by Ellen Moon for Fochriw Primary School, Wales

The children have shown what ambitious, capable learners they are producing this book! We are all very proud. It has very important messages about punctuality and attendance and is fun!
